When thinking of our next customer spotlight feature, we quickly thought of Champions Gourmet Popcorn. After their kind shout-out via Facebook, we thought it was good timing to talk about this local business. This local company just celebrated its one-year anniversary on May 15, and we are so glad to have printed their label for them. If you want your mouth to water, we can start naming some of their 45+ different flavors of popcorn like kettle corn, caramel corn, cheddar, white cheddar, triple chocolate, smokey bacon, cheesy pizza, beer cheese, and cinnamon… just to name a few. Owners Eric “Bam Bam” Dezarn and finance Cindy opened Champions Gourmet Popcorn as the first and only popcorn store in Bullitt County. Eric or “Bam Bam” got his nickname during his three years with the Ohio Valley Wrestling organization where he was the 1996 Heavy Weight Champion. This background inspired the name for the business along with the champion belt logo. At heart, “Bam Bam” is a gentle family man, and found his love of popcorn from childhood memories of his mother making popcorn every Friday night for the family. They are also available for fundraising opportunities to help support your cause (which we think is pretty cool!).
